How do I claim the Grant?

If you’re interested in getting a home charge point installed, we will just need you to answer a few simple questions and our installers will claim the grant on your behalf. Get in touch

Installation

The process for installation is very simple:

1. Survey

We will help organise a survey, which can usually be done remotely. It will usually include taking some photos, which show:

  • Your consumer unit (fuse board)
  • Your meter
  • Details of your main fuse (usually near your meter)
  • The proposed location of your charger

2. Paperwork

You will be issued a quotation for works and given details for the chosen charger. The installer will also request the paperwork needed for us to claim the grant on your behalf.

3. Installation

You will then be given an installation date. An OZEV (Office of Zero Emission Vehicles) approved installer will fit your charge point and show you how to operate it.

EV Quick Tip

As well as having your own off-street parking, you will also need to be the homeowner or have permission from the landlord to install a home charger.

How much does an EV charger cost?
